There once was a Psalm so divine
It spoke of God’s love so sublime
It’s words were so true
They’ll guide me and you
To follow the Lord all the time

The Lord in heaven reigns supreme
His glory is seen from afar
His mighty power’s seen
By those who have been
In awe of his greatness and star

There once was a Lord who was true
He gave us His grace, so we knew
His faithfulness will never end
His mercy and peace shall descend
We can trust in Him, yes it’s true

There once was a God so true
His love and grace all around us flew
He is faithful and just
His mercy we must trust
For His promises will never undo

A man of the Lord in his heart he did trust
His laws and commands he would never adjust
He’d ponder them day and night
So that he’d get it right
The Word of God, he’d never rust

The Lord’s voice is powerful and strong
He speaks with a thunderous song
It echoes through the mountains high
To the depths of the valleys low
His glory is seen in the sky.

A God of grace and mercy too
You can trust in Him, it’s true
He listens to your prayer
His love is everywhere
He’ll answer you, His promise is true

The Lord has heard our supplication
And answered with His great salvation
He’s in the heavens above
His love and mercy we love
He’s worthy of our adoration

The Lord is gracious and kind
His mercy is ever divine
He satisfies all our needs
His righteousness never recedes
His wonders are found in all time

A God of love and faithfulness
His word will last through endless days
His covenant He’ll not break
His love will never shake
This truth will never pass away.
