In the heights where the waters roar,
God reigns on His throne evermore.
With strength like the sea,
He rules mightily,
His power, we cannot ignore.

In silence, my soul finds its peace,
From turmoil and troubles, release.
My hope rests in grace,
In the stillness, I trace,
The strength that will never decrease.

With riches and power, beware,
For trust in them is but air.
True refuge I seek,
In the stronghold, not weak,
A fortress beyond all compare.

In the paths of the just, we delight,
With our hearts seeking wisdom’s true light.
We strive to obey,
In each step of the way,
Finding joy in the truth that feels right.

In the shadow where safety does dwell,
With trust in a refuge so well,
No terror at night,
Nor arrows in flight,
For peace in the heart will compel.

His angels surround with their care,
Through trials, we need never despair,
With long life bestowed,
On this path we strode,
In love, we are held in His prayer.

In the span of our days, we must see,
How fleeting our moments can be.
With wisdom, we strive,
To cherish and thrive,
And seek joy in each breath, wild and free.

In the depths of my heart, search with care,
Know my thoughts, every burden I bear.
Lead me on paths that are right,
Guide me through day and night,
In Your love, Lord, I find solace rare.

In the heavens, the throne stands so high,
With a rule that extends through the sky.
His angels take flight,
In His wisdom and might,
While His love for the earth will not die.

As a father shows mercy and grace,
So He cares for our every embrace.
Though our lives may be brief,
His compassion’s our chief,
In His arms, we find solace and place.

When foes rise up with intent to deceive,
In the shadows, I find strength to believe.
With a heart full of grace,
I seek refuge in His face,
For my trust in the Lord, I will cleave.

In a whisper, my heart found its song,
For the Lord’s love has held me so strong.
When I cried in despair,
He was there with great care,
And now joy in my soul will prolong.

There once was a man with great praise
For the Lord he would sing all his days
He put trust in the Lord
And his help he adored
For the Lord reigns forever, always
