A man had a servant who owed
A debt that was way too low
The master said, “Forgive!”
The servant then did live
And his debt was no longer a woe

A church should be humble and mild
When a brother in faith has gone wild
The first step is one
To bring it undone
Forgiveness is the Lord’s style

From Galilee a man did come
Who preached the gospel of the Son
His words were strong and bold
Though crowds did him scold
He spoke of Christ, so it was done

There once was a man from Galilee
Who asked of his disciples three
“Who do men say that I am?”
They replied “John the Baptist or a prophet, you can!”
He said, “Nay, I’m the Son of Man, you see!”

A Pharisee was quite perplexed,
For Jesus had done something unexpected.
He said that it’s not what goes in the mouth,
But what comes out that counts,
And for their hypocrisy he had rejected.

The disciples were in a boat
On the lake, they began to float
But Jesus was near
And said “Have no fear!”
The waves and wind will not gloat

A mustard seed so small and round
Is hidden in the furrowed ground
It’s tiny size it can’t disguise
Though it shall become a tree profound

A farmer had planted a seed
And it grew into a weed
Though it seemed a surprise
It was no surprise
That it was a weed, indeed

A sower went out to sow
His seed upon the ground
He spread it, far and wide
To the mountains, hills and tide
The harvest would be profound

In Galilee there was a man
Who Jesus said was truly grand
He spoke of God’s grace
In a gentle embrace
And showed us how to take a stand
