Mark 6.1-13
There once was a man from Nazareth
Who taught with wisdom and depth
He sent out his friends
To spread the good news to all ends
And they healed many with their breath -
Mark 5.21-end
There once was a man in great need
For his daughter was terribly sick indeed
He sought out a healer
Who made her much realer
And everyone marveled at the deed -
Mark 4.35-end
In a boat, the disciples did sail
When a storm came and caused them to wail
But Jesus arose
And the wind He did close
Showing His power that would never fail -
Mark 4.26-34
In parables, Jesus would teach
Of the kingdom of God within reach
Like a tiny seed sown
Or a mustard seed grown
His lessons were meant to impeach -

There once was a man who caused a stir
His family thought he was absurd
The scribes said he’s possessed
But Jesus just addressed
All those who do God’s will, they’re preferred -

There once was a man who did preach
And his teachings were quite out of reach
He healed on the sabbath day
Which caused quite a dismay
But his love for all was his main speech -
Mark 2.27
On the Sabbath, Jesus did teach
And the Pharisees tried to impeach
But he said with a smile
Man was not made for the file
So the Sabbath is there for us to reach -
Mark 14.3-9
There once was a woman who came
With an alabaster jar to proclaim
She poured ointment so rare
On Jesus with care
Her act of love would forever remain -
Mark 16.1-8
On the first day of the week so bright,
The women went to the tomb in the light.
But they found it was bare,
And an angel was there,
Proclaiming that Jesus took flight. -
Mark 12.28-34
There once was a man who inquired,
About the greatest commandment desired.
To love God and neighbor,
He found no greater labor,
And the scribe saw his wisdom admired.
