There once was a man who did say
Come to me and drink on this day
Living water I give
So that you may live
And from within you it shall stay

There once was a woman in need
Who met Jesus by Jacob’s well deed
He offered her living water
To quench her soul’s thirst and falter
And she found the love that she’d plead

There once was a vine and its branches
They grew together in joyful dances
But those that bear fruit
Are pruned to take root
And they’ll flourish in heavenly expanses

A man entered town on a donkey,
The people cheered and called him their honkey,
They waved palm branches high,
And shouted as he passed by,
For they knew he was the chosen one, lucky!

There once was a man who did teach
Of the truth that he came here to preach
He spoke of his fate
And the hour was late
But through his death, many hearts he would reach

There once was a man from above
Sent to show us God’s endless love
He came as a light
To give us new sight
And lead us to heavenly treasure trove

In the temple, Jesus grew irate
Turning tables and causing debate
He spoke of his fate
And the love that awaits
A sign of the power he’d create

At a wedding, the wine did run dry
But Jesus turned water to wine, oh my!
The guests were amazed
At the wine he had raised
Proving his power from on high

In Galilee a man named Nathanael
Was found by Philip, all is well
Jesus saw him under the fig tree
And knew he was honest and free
So he followed the Lord and all was swell

In the beginning, there was the Word
Through Him, all things were assured
He came to the earth
To bring us new birth
And in Him, our salvation is secured
