Hebrews 10.11-14
In a temple, the priests would abide,
With offerings made side by side.
But one sacrifice grand,
Brought redemption so planned,
Now grace flows like a powerful tide. -
Hebrews 9.24-end
In the heavens, a place so divine,
A priest with a purpose did shine.
Not with blood of the beast,
But His own, as a feast,
To cleanse hearts and make all things align.
With a promise that death would not claim,
He entered, forever the same.
In His grace, we find peace,
From our sin, sweet release,
Through His love, we are never to blame. -
Hebrews 9.11-14
In a temple where shadows once lay,
A new path was forged in the fray.
With blood that was pure,
A promise secure,
To cleanse hearts and lead souls to the way. -
Hebrews 7.23-end
In a time long ago, there arose,
A priest with a promise that glows.
Not by lineage tied,
But through love as his guide,
He offers grace where compassion flows.
With an oath, he stands firm and true,
For the faithful, his mercy renews.
In a heavenly place,
He intercedes with grace,
Bringing hope to all hearts that pursue. -
Hebrews 5.1-10
In the temple, a priest stands so tall,
With compassion, he answers the call.
For the sins of the crowd,
He speaks strong and proud,
Offering grace to the great and the small.
From the heavens, a voice did descend,
A Son who would serve and defend.
Through His trials and tears,
He conquers our fears,
In His love, we find hope without end. -
Hebrews 4.12-end
In the realm where the spirit does dwell,
A truth sharper than swords we can tell.
It pierces the heart,
In each hidden part,
Revealing our thoughts, all is well.
With grace, we approach the divine,
In mercy and love, we align.
For a rest that we seek,
In the meek and the weak,
Awaits those who trust in the sign. -
Hebrews 1.1-4, 2.5-12
In days of old, the words were profound,
Through prophets, great wisdom was found.
But now comes a Son,
With glory begun,
In His light, all creation is bound.
He’s greater than angels, it’s clear,
A message of hope we hold dear.
In flesh He has come,
To call us His own,
In unity, love draws us near. -
Hebrews 4.14-16, 5.7-9
There once was a high priest above
Who interceded with love
He offered up prayers
And conquered all snares
To bring us to God from above -
Hebrews 5.5-10
There once was a high priest so great
He offered up prayers to negate
Suffering and pain
For those who remain
And became the source of salvation’s gate -
Hebrews 2.14-end
There once was a man who did fear
The power of death drawing near
But Jesus came down
To save and to crown
All those who in faith persevere
