2 Corinthians 5.11-21
There once was a man from Galilee
Who died on a cross for you and me
He took on our sin
So we could be clean within
Now we’re ambassadors for eternity -
2 Corinthians 12.2-10
There once was a man with great visions
He spoke of divine apparitions
Though he had a thorn
His faith was not torn
For in weakness, he found provisions -
2 Corinthians 8.7-end
There once was a church full of grace
Who gave with a cheerful embrace
They shared their resources
And helped those in forces
Their generosity left a sweet trace -
2 Corinthians 6.1-13
There once was a letter so wise
That urged us to open our eyes
To live in God’s grace
And run a good race
With love that never denies -
2 Corinthians 5.6-10
There once was a man of great faith
Who lived with the Lord as his wraith
He walked by faith, not by sight
And longed for eternal light
For he knew judgment awaited in the end. -
2 Corinthians 4.13-5.1
We have the same spirit of faith
As it is written, we also believe
We walk by faith, not by sight
For our earthly tent will be destroyed
But we have a building from God -

That shone through the darkness with love
We may be afflicted
But we are not restricted
For our faith in God is enough -

For God’s glory to show

But we longed for a heavenly stay

Knowing our future is bright
For with God we will live on that day. -

The Lord has said, “Come now and be
A partner in the works I see
For I’m a God of grace
And you will find your place
In all the things done faithfully
